To the query, "What is a friend?" his reply was "A single soul dwelling in two bodies." - Aristotle

It's been a couple years, but Caedmon's Call is still by far my favorite band, although Five O'Clock People is definitely making some inroads (so yes, I guess Folk/Rock would be my favorite music). I still haven't seen them in concert (I keep missing them ... I'd be in one place, they'd be in another ... oh well). Holly got to help them out once, and sent me a photo, but that's about as close as I've gotten. Right now, they've had two major realeases, and I believe another is due out October '00, which I'll probably be getting almost immediately (thank you musicforce.com).

So, Five O'Clock People's The Nothing Venture is the best album I've taken a chance on for a long time (probably since Jars' debut). And basically, since listening to them, Steve and I decided that any band that has a mandolin player can't be bad. If you go to their website, you can order an album of their earlier work called Tripping the Spindley Distractive, but I definitely recommend The Nothing Venture for anyone who likes Caedmon or Knapp.

As far as other artists are concerned, Jars, Third Day, Bebo Norman and Jennifer Knapp are all awesome. And you don't want to end up at a Summer Camp with just one Knapp CD, I can tell you that now :-). Knapp also got one of the most active bulletin boards at her production companies website, Alabaster Arts. And I guess I'm a big Toad fan as well.
